The Chix participated in a unique event today at Three Fires Golf Course. Today teams were allowed to play in fivesomes with their teammates and they played a "Shamble". The rules of the event were that all players teed off, then the group picked the best drive and everyone hit from that spot. From there on, the players played their own ball until they holed out. The best score among the five players was the team score for that hole. The team shot 40 on the front and 40 on the back. Their score of 80 placed them 2nd behind Holland who had a 75. It was a very fun event and the girls really enjoyed the opportunity to play with their teammates. Friday the girls will be playing in the Thornapple Kellogg Invitational at Yankee Springs.
