The JV Chix football team was back home after 4 consecutive road games as they hosted the Dux from Zeeland West. The Dux won the game 40 – 20.
Offensively, Cebastin Hunderman had another big game, rushing the ball 25 times for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns. Quarterback, Sam Cochran completed 8 passes for 106 yards. Ian Bannach had 3 catches for 70 yards. Cole Machiela add 4 catches on the game.
Defensively, the Chix were led by LB Zach Bellis, who had 16 tackles on the game. Cole Machiela and Cebastin Hunderman each recorded 7 tackles in the game and Ian Bannach had 6 tackles.
The JV Chix last game of the year is on Thursday October 18 as they host Unity Christian at Zeeland Stadium.
