The Chix opened the season by scoring 5 points at the 8-team Jenison JV Invitational.
Paul Freeman and Corbin Cnossen competed in the first flight and defeated Northview and Forest Hill Central to get to the championship match. The final was decided in a tie-breaker, with Jenison defeating ZE 8-7(5).
Alex Macy and Jonah DeBoer won two matches at 6 Doubles, and Deakon Lawson and Dominic Schuitema won one match in the third flight.
