Girls Varsity Tennis vs. splits with Wayland and Hudsonville

The Chix defeated Wayland by a score of 7 to 1 in the first match on Thursday afternoon. Hudsonville got the better of ZE by a 5 to 3 score. The final match of the day featured a tremendous comeback by ZE 3D team of Carly Lukins and Elizabeth Rogovich. With the sun setting and temps getting frigid, the girls came from 5 to 2 down in the second set to win over a solid team from Hudsonville. It was great to see the team come together to root the girls on. Taya Schanski (3S) and ThyAn Kleikamp (4S) won both of their matches on the day.
