Zeeland East placed 3rd overall with 16 points. The Chix missed qualifying
for the Finals by just 2 points.
It was a great team effort as each flight
contributed points to the team total.
Trinh Kleikamp (4S), Mahalia
Vis/Elizabeth Rogovich (2D and Pippa Boerman/Olivia Grotenhuis (3D) each
finished runners-up in their flights.
Zeeland East finished the year
with an outstanding 15-5-1 record, 2nd in league play and 3rd at the
regional.
Seniors Anna Steenwyk, ThyAn Kleikamp, Keeley Boerman, Kendyll
Samora, Natalie Veldheer, Kasey Fisher and Maylee Fisher will be sorely
missed.
